Cookie Policy
Last updated:October 16, 2026
Selah uses a small number of cookies and browser local-storage entries. This page lists what they are, what they do, and how long they last. You can change your optional choices at any time: .
Essential (always active)
- Sign-in session(local storage, managed by our account service): keeps you signed in securely. Lasts for the length of your session and refreshes while you use Selah.
- selah.consent(local storage): remembers your cookie choices so we don’t ask again. Kept until you clear your browser storage.
Preferences (optional)
- selah.reading.red-letter(local storage): remembers your choice to show Words of Yeshua in Red. Signed-in readers also save this preference in their account. It remains until changed or your browser storage is cleared.
- selah.translation(local storage): remembers your chosen Bible translation (WEB, KJV, or ASV) between visits.
- selah.dedication-seen(local storage): remembers that you’ve seen the welcome dedication so it doesn’t appear on every visit.
Analytics (optional, off by default)
If you allow analytics, Selah may use privacy-conscious, aggregate usage statistics to understand which features are used and how the application performs. No advertising profiles are built, and analytics stay off until you opt in.
Marketing
Selah does not use advertising or marketing trackers, and none are activated by any consent choice.
Managing or withdrawing consent
Use the Cookie Settings link in the footer to change your choices at any time. You can also clear your browser’s site data to remove everything Selah has stored on your device. Essential Bible reading features remain available even if you reject optional cookies.
This policy describes Selah’s actual practices and is provided for transparency; it is not, by itself, a guarantee of legal compliance in every jurisdiction.
